| Förodling | Sow seed in pots or trays of moist seed compost and cover with a very fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. After sowing, seal container inside a polythene bag and leave at around 15-20 C for 3 months. If germination has not occurred in this time, place the container and bag into a refrierator for a further 3 months before returning to 15-20 C. Germination can be slow. If germination has not occurred by this time, then repeat the cycle as above. |

| Odling | Examine container regulary and carefully transplant individual seedlings when large enough to handle into pots or trays. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost. |
